Shijiazhuang airport , 45km northeast of the city, is served by an airport bus which takes you to the CAAC office on Bei Dajie. The large train station is conveniently located in the middle of town, and its concourse is the arrival and departure point for minibuses to Beijing. The long-distance bus station stands a block south of the train station, on the eastern side. Getting around town by bus is straightforward; buses #5 and #6, which run east and west across town, are the most useful. Taxis around town have a ¥10 minimum charge.
