Yuhuangding Park

Named after the Yuhuang Temple, the Yuhuangding Park is located on a quiet hill in the Chefoo district and is famous for its fairyland-like view resembling that of Penglai, which explains the temple's second name of "Little Penglai". The Yuhuang Temple was first built in the Yuan Dynasty (1280-1368) and expanded and renovated in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The layout of the temple is quite formal. It has a red gate, a middle palace, a back hall, right and left wing rooms and an enclosed garden.

How to get there: Take bus No. 2, 3, 21, 42.
Cost: RMB5.
Open hours: 07:00-18:30.
